Here's some Paris information that's good to know if you're going to be visiting Paris: Population City - a little over 2 million, and slowly shrinking; Urban - around 11 million; Metro - closer to 13 million Visa Information France is in the Schengen area, and most non-EU visitors - Americans, Canadians, Australians and others - can stay up to 90 days in any 180 without a visa. Two things have changed since this page was first written and both catch people out. British passports are now third-country passports: since Brexit, UK visitors are on the same 90-in-180 limit as everyone else, and the clock counts days across the whole Schengen area, not just France. And ETIAS, a paid online travel authorisation for visa-free visitors, has been repeatedly postponed but is coming; once it starts you will need one before you fly.
